SUMMARY:Mindful Movement for PD - Stevens Point
DESCRIPTION:Instructor: Mindy Moore\, PT\, DPT \nCurrently all classes are in-person. Please contact Mindy  if you would like to know more information about her class. aspirus.wpa.sp@gmail.com \nMindy Moore grew up about a half an hour from Madison in a small town of less than 1500 people. She completed her undergraduate degree at UW-Madison with a major in Physical Education and a minor in Adaptive PE. While pursuing that degree\, she began working with people with developmental disabilities through an organization called United Cerebral Palsy and that led to working as a social worker for several years until she decided to pursue PT school. Mindy obtained her Doctor of Physical Therapy from University of Illinois Chicago and has had experience working with Neurological diagnoses in an inpatient rehab setting prior to beginning to work at Aspirus. She looks forward to continuing to learn about how to best work with these populations to promote people’s ability to remain as independent as possible and continue to be able to do that which they love! Mindy’s family includes her significant other and his two teenage children and they live in Stevens Point. She loves playing board games with her family\, playing with her dog and cat\, running\, playing sports like tennis or frisbee\, hiking\, and she has recently learned to downhill ski. Mindy is so excited to be partnering with WPA to continue to workout classes in Stevens Point!
