Rock Climbing Event

December 13 @ 2:45 pm - 6:00 pm

Looking for a fun way to get moving and try something different? Join Wisconsin Parkinson Association for a Parkinson’s-friendly rock climbing experience at Adventure Rock in Brookfield, Wisconsin.

No climbing experience is needed, and all abilities are welcome. Whether you’re an experienced climber or stepping onto the wall for the first time, this is a chance to move at your own pace, challenge yourself and have some fun.

Why Try Rock Climbing?

Rock climbing offers a fun way to stay active while working on movement, balance and coordination, three important areas of exercise for people with Parkinson’s. You can choose your own level of challenge and celebrate each step along the way.

Just as important, it’s a chance to connect with others, enjoy a new experience and be part of a supportive community.

Caregivers and care partners are welcome to attend as observers and cheer you on.

This is a Parkinson’s-specific event and is open to people of all abilities. Your first session is free, and no previous climbing experience is required.
